Location
Located in the northernmost section of the city, Zone 2 is 6.64 square miles with a population of approximately 25,000.
Officers
Three sergeants, two master patrolmen and twenty officers are assigned to Zone 2. Officers work varying shifts and provide 24-hour coverage.
Priorities
With emphasis along the Rutherford and Pete Hollis corridors, priorities for Zone 2 include proactive enforcement activities near accident-prone intersections and roadways; utilizing crime analysis data to address hot spots in and around apartment communities; patrolling parks and green spaces and developing and maintaining relationships with area residents through actively-involved neighborhood associations.
