Greenville Zoo to Participate in #GivingZOOday

This year, the Greenville Zoo is joining AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums across the nation for #GivingZOOday, a #GivingTuesday campaign focused solely on zoos and aquariums. On this special day only, anyone who donates $25 or more to the Greenville Zoo will have their gift doubled (up to $2,500) thanks to a generous supporter of the Greenville Zoo. Additionally, they will be entered to win a year membership and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Greenville Zoo. The special donation page for #GivingZOOday will go live on Tuesday, November 27 on the Greenville Zoo Foundation website.

The Greenville Zoo staff also plans to participate in #GivingZOOday and is asking the public to help them determine which conservation project will receive a contribution from the zoo. Supporters can vote for one of three conservation projects and the zoo will donate $1,000 to the winning organization. Online voting will be available on the donation page.

Follow the Greenville Zoo Foundation on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to get updates on the event, learn about contests throughout the day and track the zoo’s fundraising progress.
