Housing our Neighbors

The Greenville Housing Fund and JustFaith Greenville hosted the Housing our Neighbors event on March 28 at Augusta Heights Baptist Church.

The event highlighted innovative steps faith communities can take to help address the affordable housing shortage in Greenville. Speakers included Greenville County Councilmember Ennis Fant, Reverend James Speed of Allen Temple Community Economic Development Corporation, Tammie Hoy Hawkins with the Greenville Housing Fund, Jeff Randolph with TRG Communities and Grace Church, Bucky Tarleton with United Housing Connections and Susan McLarty with the Greenville Homeless Alliance.

At the conclusion of the presentation, experts in affordable housing were available to provide information to attendees about ways their faith community could get involved.
